marsbrookboating.co.uk is owned and maintained by marsbrook. We are keen water sports enthusiasts ourselves from slalom canoeing, dinghy sailing, yachting and RIBs. Although originally based in England (and doing much of our watersports from Poole Harbour in Dorset) we're now based in the South of France near the Spanish border.

Our skills lie in both the technical and marketing arenas with both formal qualifications, and perhaps more importantly, real experience spanning both areas over many years. Our first web site being produced back in 1996, and although things have moved on somewhat since then, we still have a copy of the site for when we want to reminisce!

marsbrook as a company provides online marketing solutions for Sea Schools and sailing holiday providers. The majority of schools we work with are RYA recognised.

Leisure Solution Sites
Our first site, www.marsbrookboating.com, launched Spring 2002 and focuses on the world of boating (yacht charter, sailing schools, windsurfing, powerboats, motor boats and milebuilding adventure cruises) to both the holiday maker and seasoned enthusiasts alike.

marsbookboating.com (and .co.uk and in 2008 other local versions too) reaches a vast audience of people who are just at the beginning of their learning curve when it comes to boating. For example:

• 57% of visitors do not own a boat
• but...60% plan to buy a boat within the next 12 months
• 80% of visitors have either no qualification as yet, or just an entry level one

We appeal to and support people just starting out. We are not a sea school ourselves, purely an advertising medium for schools and boating companies generally.

In January 2004 we launched www.marsbrookholidayideas.com which promotes family sailing, cookery, art and painting, photography, cycling, horse riding and walking holidays.
